About the Role
As a Sales Account Manager at Rantizo, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle for our drone hardware, annual subscriptions, and AcreConnect™ software. You will work closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and close high-value deals.

You will also lead and develop our SDR team, providing daily coaching and process to improve pipeline generation and win rates. This role reports directly to the CRO.


We are a high growth agtech startup, looking for a sales leader who is excited about the blue sky and eager to get into the weeds. You’ll work with customers ranging from the largest ag retailers in the country to young entrepreneurs putting drones to work in their communities.


About Rantizo
Rantizo connects supply and demand for agricultural spray drone services with a turnkey service platform. We enable industry leading drone applicators by selling drones, support, software and training, and our service platform connects demand for acres to be sprayed to local operators.


Rantizo operators fly and apply in 30 states, providing qualified, licensed, and insured precision application services. Near term we are using drone spray services to build out a nationwide, on demand, technically savvy labor market. Longer term we are creating the network that puts autonomy to work within agriculture. All those cool ground robots, soil sampling technologies, imagery devices, smart pest traps, etc. are going to need a network to deploy and scale – that is where we come in.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, personally responsible for developing large accounts in the agricultural sector
- Develop and execute robust outbound campaigns in collaboration with Marketing while also effectively managing inbound opportunities amongst the team
- Coach and lead our SDR function- ensuring daily, monthly, and quarterly targets, both activity based and financially based, are achieved
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and expand Rantizo's market presence
- Forecast sales activities and revenue accurately, maintaining detailed records in the CRM system. Responsible for reporting out KPI’s to CFO, CRO, CEO
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand client needs and pain points
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the full value proposition of Rantizo's solutions
- Support the CRO in negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder deals with a focus on long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product teams to align sales strategies with product development and market trends
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads and build brand awareness
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities, in collaboration with Customer Success team
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in agricultural drones and precision farming

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a related field
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in agriculture, drone technology, or software
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with CRM software and sales productivity tools
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop account strategies
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and industry events (<10% travel)
- Passion for agriculture and direct experience with growers and retailers

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS solutions or hardware-software combinations
- Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies and practices
- Existing network within the agricultural industry
- Familiarity with drone regulations and licensing requirements (preferred, not required)
